ARTIST BIOGRAPHY
Dairmount, founder, A&R & artist of RWAV, is the true soul & ambassador of the label. Longtime independent music activist born In Belgium formerly known by most as Philarmonix. A natural “freestyler” embracing anything soulful & groovy since the late 80’s , played & travelled the world for 15 years to find a home in Hamburg, Germany, where he settled down 6 years ago. 2009 marked the accomplishment of an old dream by founding Room With A View and creating the rising duo Dairmount & Berardi and his collaboration with Ralf Petter as Petter & Dairmount. Berardi has been the first Benelux producer to be released and licensed in the late 90’s on prestigious American labels such as Josh Wink’s Ovum and Franc,ois K’s Wave Music. As a dj, Marino has received major welcome in all the clubs he visited throughout Belgium, France, Spain, Germany, England, Russia or Japan. He is today one of the main artists of Room With A View and is the partner in crime of Dairmount in studio as the duo Dairmount & Berardi. One solo EP was released in february on RWAV and the first Dairmount & Berardi EP and a bunch of remixes on Atjazz Record Company, Composite & Fresh Meat are in the pipeline for 2011. After a very busy start of the year on the remix front with a global wave of applause for their renditions of Jimpster, Feygin , Audio Soul Project & Master-H, the boys are already cracking on new projects. Mid August will see the release of the Dairmount & Berardi episode of the succesful "My View Of The Room" serie (already compiled by Art Of Tones & Sasse), a compilation exploring in depth the Room With A view back catalogue. The comp will also include a brand new version of their classic Omni track released in 2009. They are also recording brand new tracks for their second EP on the label due in late autumn & are preparing a new serie of remixes for labels such as Kolour, Surface, Space Breaks or Mood Music...
