ARTIST BIOGRAPHY
Ed Davenport lives and works in his adopted home of Berlin, where he has stayed for over four years, building a name for himself within the city and beyond. He produces varied, powerful, emotional house and techno on labels like NRK, Falkplatz and Liebe*Detail amongst others.

From his first releases in 2006, on labels like Gumption and Liebe*Detail, up to his recent work in 2012, like his first full-length 'Counterchange' (NRK), or the dramatic, festival-scale 'Inland' record on Falkplatz, Ed has always maintained a high quality, non-conformist approach to club music.

As a DJ he first found his feet in the London underground circuit, and today he proudly represents his mixture of bold UK, US and European sounds both in Berlin and further afield. With regular appearances at Panorama Bar, including epic 8 hr sets and ecstatic Sunday sessions, his DJ persona and following continues to grow.

NEWS
In Spring 2013 Ed will launch his own label - 'Counterchange Recordings' - titled after his defining debut LP last year on UK label NRK. Maintaining the concept of bold, contrasting and multi-faceted dance music, the label will release new material from Davenport alongside other artists.

The 'Inland' project will return on several platforms in the next months, exploring atmospheric, club-designed techno and beyond. Watch out for Inland 12''s on Counterchange, Len Faki's Figure label, and Vidab.
