arch 0.1

arch 0.1 / 19.08.20 / Prince Charles. Live: BNJMN, Inland, Jamaica Suk + DJ Monty Luke. Live Electronics / Electro-Acoustic / Experimental.

arch is a new series of live electronic concerts in the comfortable and responsible environment of PRINCE CHARLES. We present three specially created live sets from mainstays in the Berlin techno scene, each transmitting their personal take on post-club ambience, experimental, minimalist and avant-garde music.

We asked the artists what we can expect from their shows:

Delsin regular BNJMN will splice together “a new composition, using old and new tracks as well as found sounds.” Ben’s new live set aims to “take the listener on a unique sonic experience, something they wouldn’t normally hear in a club setting.”

Counterchange founder Inland (Ed Davenport) will channel the explorative side of his sound palette, continuing where his ‘An Invitation To Disappear’ LP left off, with a spiralling performance “fusing synths, prepared electric guitar, effects and improvised passages.”

San Francisco transplant and Gradient boss Jamaica Suk has prepared a brand-new live set combining her electric double bass and modular synth… “expect drone, ambient, noise, broken beat and lots of distortion.”

Our guest DJ warming up and seeing out the night will be Detroit’s own Monty Luke, digging deep into his record collection beyond the club spectrum.
