Berlin selector and label boss Victor Ellinghaus is a house DJ first and purveyor of groove-loaded techno second under his Magic Power imprint.

Growing up in the shadow of some of the world’s most respected haunts, his introduction to electronic music was a given. By the mid 2010s he was cutting his teeth at venues like Blitz and Panorama Bar before launching his label in 2016 with the simple goal of putting out the music his friends were making. Long running collaborations with names like Fadi Mohem and Skee Mask have been instrumental, and together with the latter he released one of his label’s stand-out tracks, a repressed record by Chris Doria that had been misattributed for over two decades before becoming one of their go-to numbers and the mystery of its provenance being solved by chance on Reddit. He’s a music nerd through and through, rifling through his record collection with the same unjaded enthusiasm he brings to every set. Year on year the grooves keep coming, and his signature sound (both as b2b and solo artist) is keeping pace, well-greased rhythms that roll full-tilt into the morning hours. Club-ready sets woven through with killer tracks and his fine-tuned sense for dancefloor mood.
