BNJMN’s New Album Out Now

Hypnagogia will be the first solo album BNJMN made since 2011, when he managed to release two LPs for Rush Hour: Plastic World and Black Square, which both showcased a melodic and playful techno sound. The UK artist will release the LP on Delsin, for whom he’s put out three EPs, starting with 2014’s Coil.

Written in two studios in Berlin, where BNJMN lives, the album was influenced in part by hypnagogic states, felt between wakefulness and sleep. “I’m often quite lucid at night time,” he says, “and I feel a lot of my ideas come from those experiences, so I wanted to present an album that sounds more dreamlike than some of my previous works.”

Hypnagogia is available now.
