Infrastructure NY | Based in Berlin
Campbell Irvine, the 23-year-old outsider talent hailing from Australia, who is now based in Berlin, recently debuted as part of Infrastructure New York’s re-launch. Part industrial mantra, part musique concrète, he brings genuine new talent to the table. A classically trained violinist, who until recently had little background or experience in electronic music, Irvine has already developed a mature, unique sound; centred around a deeply ritualistic study in textural, layered compositions, inspired by Middle Eastern traditions and rhythms. Having recently performed his first live set as part of Infrastructure’s label night at Berghain, Irvine will continue to release music with Infrastructure, exploring the ritualistic, mystic side of electronic music.
