Emerging from Leipzig’s flourishing and still innocent ravescene a decade ago, Lux has honed her craft as a DJ at different underground collectives of the city’s diverse subculture. Collecting many experiences at Conne Island besides, she developed a remarkable sense of versatile selections, while having a strong intuition to plunge the dancefloor into a subtle mode of listening. With a sound that is clearly inspired by Detroit- and UK-themes, she narratively intertwines genres as Ambient, Electro, Break Beat, House, Italo, Wave, DnB and Techno and with greatest ease. Her mixes naturally ebb and flow from intricate to playful, from trippy to downbeat, dubby to uplifting and the atmosphere she creates in this process embodies a basic ground: it is us, who are creators of a decent dancefloor. Lux has settled in Berlin and is a regular guest at esteemed Clubs like :// about blank or Institut für Zukunft.
